Michell has taken on the role of Director of Care for Autumn's residents. Michell is dedicated to providing quality assurance for the services provided at the Personal Care Home.
As an RN, Michell is in a unique position to interact with family physicians, pharmacists and residents directly.
Michell's view is that Autumn provides a unique opportunity to provide differing levels of care while working always to the goal of providing to residents the comforts of home life.
Michell is an active member of the Association of Personal Care Homes Operators of Saskatchewan and sits on the board as Vice President. She is actively involved in advocating for seniors especially for funding for housing and seniors care.
Michell has been a member of the faculty of the School of Nursing for the University of Regina as well as the School of Nursing for Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She spent 25 years of her career as a nurse in acute care, specializing in coronary care nursing. Her experience, compassion and empathy are part of the attraction of this small family owned business.
